Chung Yuan Christian University (CYCU) has established a close academic partnership with the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee (UWM). Under this dual-degree program, students complete their first two years at CYCU, focusing on fundamental courses in Electrical and Computer Engineering. In their third year, students transfer to UWM to continue their studies with advanced professional courses and complete their degree.

This dual-degree program integrates theory with practical learning and offers students the opportunity to apply for graduate-level courses during their senior year. The College of Engineering & Applied Science at UWM maintains strong ties with major global companies such as ANSYS, GE Healthcare, Johnson Controls, Microsoft, and Rockwell Automation. These connections provide students with hands-on access to cutting-edge technologies and valuable industry experience, greatly enhancing their academic and career prospects.

The program is designed to cultivate professionals with global perspectives and independent thinking skills. Students can earn two bachelor’s degrees—one from CYCU and one from UWM—within four years, without the need for SAT scores. With only two years spent in the U.S., students benefit from reduced tuition costs while gaining an internationally recognized education.
