The department was established in 1976 and has since produced over 5,000 alumni around the world. The College of Business earned AACSB international accreditation in 2015 and was re-accredited in 2021. Students have many opportunities for overseas exchange, and around 20% of the department’s students are international or overseas Chinese, creating a diverse and global learning environment.

The curriculum is divided into four tracks:

  1. International Trade and Practice
  2. Econometrics and Forecasting
  3. International Finance and Accounting
  4. International Business and Management

Students can choose courses based on their interests and career goals. English-related courses are offered throughout all four years of study, along with business Japanese and Spanish to help students develop a second language skill.

Graduates pursue careers in customs brokerage, international trade, logistics and transportation, finance, procurement, banking, industry analysis, financial planning, marketing, and public sector economic administration.
