The Department of Physics at Chung Yuan Christian University was established in 1955 and is one of the university’s four founding departments. With a history of over 60 years, the department has long been committed to academic excellence.
In 1974, to expand research and cultivate high-tech talent, the Graduate Institute of Applied Physics (Master’s Program) was established. Its faculty consists of professors from both the Department of Physics and related departments within the College of Engineering.
